The Leica APO-Summicron M 90mm F/2 ASPH. lens is a fast telephoto lens ideal for use with M-mount cameras. It features a dual-apochromatic glass element for enhanced color accuracy and clarity. Aspherical elements and high refractive index glass are utilized to control distortion and spherical aberrations. Its manual focus allows it to focus on subjects as close as 3.3 feet away. Its compact design also features a built-in hood that can shield the front element.

Apochromatic Design 

The dual-apochromatic design utilizes two anomalous glass elements to eliminate fringing and chromatic aberrations. This delivers enhanced color accuracy and clarity in the aperture range. Besides being apochromatic, this lens also utilizes aspherical elements and two high-resin index components to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion. In addition, it increases edge-to-edged illumination and sharpness. The bright f/2 maximum aperture helps you shoot in low-light conditions and gives you greater control over the depth of field.

The manual focus feature of the lens provides a minimum focus distance of 3.36 inches and a maximum magnification of 1:9. The built-in hood shade and protective shield help minimize ghosting and flare while protecting the front element. It also accepts 55mm filters.
