Leica - M11 Monochrom Rangefinder Camera Features:

  • The Monochrom M11 is the successor to the M11, and it retains the triple resolution technology that was first introduced. Through this unique pixel partitioning process, which allows users to select between 60, 36, and 18MP outputs, each resolution uses the full area of the sensor, resulting in improved noise levels and dynamic range.
  • The new M11 Monochrom features a 3x optical zoom and the Maestro III processor, which helps keep the camera moving fast and continuously. It also has a wider sensitivity range, allowing it to shoot at a higher rate of resolution.
  • The lower ISO range helps improve detail and flexibility when working at low light. The monochrome design of the M11 sensor ensures that its noise levels and quality are usable at ISO 200000. Although the M11 is a photo-only camera, it prioritizes manual operation. Its numerous functional updates and improvements make it the most modern M camera yet. Its electronic shutter helps users shoot at a speed of up to 1/16,000 seconds, which is ideal for working with fast f/0.95 lenses.
  • The camera also supports flash sync at 1/180 seconds and a mechanical shutter speed of up to 1/4000 seconds. To simulate working with a wide range of lenses, it can crop images at different zoom levels to create a slightly different effect. These are also reversible crops when shooting with DNG or in JPG formats. The camera has a variety of exposure metering features, such as multi-field and center-weighted average. These help minimize the need for users to manually meter and re-compose before taking photos. Long exposure noise reduction can also be disabled to save time.
  • The M11 is a camera that's based on the M3 model, which was released in 1954. It features a recognizable and classic design that emphasizes shooting and intuitive handling. Its aluminum top surface is treated with a scratch-resistant coating. The updated M11 model takes a more stealthy approach by removing all of its color from its body. The red dot from the camera has been replaced by a dark chrome tint.
  •  Its viewfinder also has a dark chrome coating. In addition, the shutter button, bayonet lock, and white and gray dial engravings are black. A discreet MONOCHROM logo is also located on the top plate of the camera. The large and bright optical viewfinder is a 0.73x magnification that's designed to provide a visual representation of the world around you.
  • It features a setting that allows users to set the image sensor size to match their desired shooting distance. On the front of the camera, a frame selector is also available to automatically change the image field.
  • The rear 2.95-inch LCD has an updated design that's brighter to provide clearer images in sunny conditions. It also comes with a scratch-resistant glass cover. Its menu has been redesigned to match the Q and SL systems, allowing users to easily navigate through its various features. The camera's electronic stabilization helps minimize the appearance of shake on the rear LCD. It also makes it easier to focus on the longer focal lengths of the lens with greater accuracy.
  • The M11 model is a mirrorless camera that's similar to its predecessors. It has first made the switch from having a removable baseplate to having one that's directly attached to the body. The camera's design is similar to that of the Q and SL systems. Its onboard battery is the BP-SCL7. The BP-SCL7's lithium-ion battery is capable of providing up to 700 shots per charge.
  •  It's rated to provide up to 1700 shots if used with the optical viewfinder. Its revised design includes a single UHS-II memory card slot inside the battery compartment. The M11 model features a built-in 256GB internal memory card, which can be used either as a standalone storage device or with an external SD card for additional storage.
  •  Its internal memory can be used to store images or split them into different types for easy backup. The camera's USB-C port allows users to transfer photos and charge its onboard battery. The included FOTOS Cable can be used to attach the camera to a mobile device using the app for iOS and Android. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are also available for connecting the device to the camera. In addition, geotagging and the ability to rate images are included in the app.
