The fast f/1.4 aperture helps you get the most out of your photos, and it provides you with greater control over the depth of field. One of the aspherical elements helps to control the distortions and spherical aberrations in photos.

This feature also helps with low vignetting and increased sharpness. A total of seven anomalous dispersion components, including three cemented ones, suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing and contribute to the creation of high contrast images.

The floating elements system delivers consistent image quality regardless of the focusing range. The maximum magnification ratio is 1:21.9 and the minimum focusing distance is 2.3'.
