While the LiteShaper is inherently flexible, it also includes a frame for occasions when a rigid panel is necessary. This frame comes with a tilting 5/8" stand mount and a diffuser for added versatility. Touch-fastener straps are provided to secure the mat to a speedlight for on-camera video lighting or to use as a modeling light for flash photography. It can also be attached inside softboxes, such as Octa models, to function as a constant light source or a modeling light alongside strobes.

The LiteShaper operates as an AC/DC source, allowing flexibility between battery power (with a 3.5-hour runtime) or AC adapter, both secured to the light stand with the included holder. In addition to local intensity adjustments on the fixture, wireless adjustments can be made using the provided remote control, simplifying operation further.
