Sony's ECM-XYST1M stereo microphone is compatible with various cameras, such as Cyber-Shot, Handycam, and Alpha/NEX cameras. Its Multi Interface Shoe directly passes the audio to the camera, and it doesn't require additional cable. If you have a camera that doesn't have a Multi-Interface Shoe, you can use this microphone with a mini-jack cable. The included windscreen helps cut down on wind noise pickup, and the microphone's directional angle can be adjusted manually to set the ideal audio capture for different settings. The ECM-XYST1M can be used with Sony Handycam, Cyber-Shot, and Alpha/NEX cameras with a Multi Interface Shoe. If not, a mini-jack cable can be used for the cameras. The microphone features a wide 70 Hz to 20 kHz response, and its black casing ensures that it matches its professional audio. Its built-in wind screen also helps enhance the quality of the audio captured.
