The Sony ZV-E10 II Mirrorless Camera builds upon its content-creation-focused predecessor with enhanced features, including a 26MP APS-C sensor for improved performance and high-quality imagery in a compact form factor tailored for vloggers. This positions the ZV-E10 II alongside established models like the FX30 and a6700.

A rear 3" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD with a flip-out design allows you to easily film yourself or take selfies with ease. When recording, an integrated tally lamp creates a red border around the LCD. If you're filming vertically for TikTok or Instagram, your LCD screen will flip to display information vertically as well. A directional 3-capsule microphone is specifically designed for forward-directional audio recording for vlog and interview applications. A dedicated windscreen minimizes distortion when filming outdoors. Both 3.5mm microphone and headphone ports are also featured for more advanced audio recording, and the Multi Interface Shoe also benefits audio recording capabilities. This accessory shoe supports a digital audio interface that helps to achieve lower noise during recording and also eliminates cable clutter and the need for external power when working with compatible shoe-mounted mics.

The ZV-E10 II is equipped with a micro-HDMI video output and a USB-C port for data transfer, enabling easy video sharing to a computer or compatible mobile device. Additionally, live streaming to social media platforms is possible through the integrated 5 GHz WiFi or USB-C data port. The USB-C port also supports high-speed wired transfers via the Sony Creators App. 

Support for RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT streaming protocols, as well as UVC standards, allows the camera to function as a webcam for versatile connectivity options.

The Product Showcase setting enhances vlogging and product review videos, enabling smooth focus transitions between a subject's face and an object placed in front of the lens.
Background Defocus swiftly adjusts the attached lens to its maximum aperture setting with a custom button function, effectively isolating subjects with shallow depth of field and bokeh.
Focus Breathing Compensation actively corrects any visual distortions that may occur during manual or automatic focus adjustments.
Slow & Quick (S&Q) mode allows for Full HD video capture at specified frame rates between 1-120 fps, enabling both slow-motion and accelerated playback for dynamic video effects.

The ZV-E10 II features an APS-C-format 26MP Exmor CMOS sensor, akin to those found in the flagship FX30 and a6700 models, delivering smooth, nuanced image quality with minimal noise. It offers a high sensitivity range from ISO 100 to 32000, expandable up to ISO 102400 for enhanced low-light performance. Paired with an upgraded BIONZ XR processor, the sensor enables 8x faster processing and incorporates an expanded 5.6K oversampling area.

The ZV-E10 II features a fast-hybrid 759-point phase detection autofocus system and an AI processing unit that enhances subject recognition. Real-time Eye AF ensures precise focus on human or animal eyes, ideal for capturing portraits. Activated by half-pressing the shutter button, this function allows users to prioritize either the right or left eye for focusing. 

Real-time tracking utilizes AI algorithms to automatically detect and track moving subjects. When Face/Eye Priority AF is enabled, this tracking system continuously focuses on the subject's eye or face in real-time, adjusting according to the subject's movement.

The ZV-E10 II offers UHD 4K video recording capabilities up to 60p, utilizing full pixel readout with 5.6K oversampling for enhanced detail and reduced moiré and aliasing. It also supports Full HD 1080p recording at frame rates up to 120 fps. Both resolutions benefit from the 600 Mb/s XAVC HS and XAVC S-I formats with 4:2:2 sampling.

Featuring S-Cinetone and S-Log 3 color profiles, the camera provides precise grading control and fully utilizes its 14-stop dynamic range. Users can apply LUTs or use Creative Looks mode to apply preset color effects directly to footage during shooting.

The ZV-E10 II has been slightly enlarged to accommodate the NP-FZ100 battery, yet it retains a compact overall form factor for portability. With the NP-FZ100 battery, users can now capture approximately 610 shots per charge, marking a 30% increase compared to the previous model. 

Additionally, power can be supplied to the camera via the USB-C port or with the optional power adapter for extended shooting sessions without interruption.
